Wilson Heights United Church
Wilson Heights United Church Advocacy Program provides an invaluable service for people dealing with minor legal matters that do not require a lawyer yet still require familiarity with the law, government bureaucracies and community social services. Advocates can assist with residential tenancy matters, welfare issues, (including appeals, tribunals and disability applications), and applications for CPP and other benefits.
Advocates from the Wilson Heights United Church offer one-on-one assistance with filling out forms, provide legal information, and assist clients in their dealings with various bureaucracies. The advocates are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can meet with an advocate by phoning 604-325-9944 (ext. 225) and booking an appointment. If the advocates can't help you, they will refer you to the appropriate agency/person.
