Abbotsford Community Services

Abbotsford Community Services (ACS) is "People Helping People". As a large social service organization, our programs encompass early childhood development, counselling and youth services, immigrant settlement and seniors services.  Every year the 300 plus staff members of Abbotsford Community Services help more than 37,000 residents in one way or another through our 70 different programs. Abbotsford Community Services is a United Way Member Agency.

ACS has recently partnered with Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) to provide a legal advocacy program whose mandate is to serve agricultural farm workers by way of legal education, law reforms and helping clients using one-on-one discussions. Also, the two agencies together provide knowledgable staff who can represent clients to the Board of Referees, Commissions, The Umpire office, Tax Court of Canada, Employment Standards Branch, Canada Pension Plan, WCB, ICBC, etc.
