The Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) has an on-site professionally trained counsellor (Maninder Bajwa) who provides counselling services to clients. In terms of Family Law, issues during the marriage are discussed. Primarily though, attention is given to issues surrounding Domestic Violence, including but not limited to, threats, intimidation and financial exploitation.

The overwhelming majority of clients served are court-ordered or required to seek assistance according to their probation conditions. All of PICS's services are provided in a culturally sensitive matter that is respectful to the client's cultural needs. Since there is no funding for this program there is a fee of $50 per hour. Upon completion of their mandatory counselling, a certificate is provided.
