Peggy's Place is operated by the Kettle Friendship Society and funded by Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and BC Housing. It provides temporary housing for women without children who have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder and have experienced trauma. Maximum length of stay is six months. Crisis lines are offered 24 hours a day throughout the year to give support and advocacy. The Kettle Friendship Society itself provides much needed information, support and representation to resolve income, housing and Family Law issues.
